Dr. Luanne Strom
co-owner
Luanne Strom, MS, DVM is a Colorado native, originally from Ft. Collins. She went to undergraduate school at Penn State, where she also played Division 1 soccer and then went on to earn her Master’s degree at Colorado State University. Dr. Strom completed Veterinary school at Ontario Veterinary College (the oldest veterinary school in North America), followed by a rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital.
While working for more than a decade in emergency medicine, she recognized the need for a veterinary transport service that allows access for more animals to get the care that they need. She, along with her business partner, started PMT in May of 2022 with the goal of making a difference in the pet community.
In her free time, Dr. Strom enjoys hiking, mountain biking, running, and any outdoor activities in the mountains.
Roxy
Co-Owner
Roxy has a Masters in business management and wanted to incorporate her love for animals and her education into a business that focuses on something missing from the pet field in Colorado. Together with her business partner, Dr. Luanne Strom, she started Pet Medical Transport. While you might not see Roxy out in the field, she is very hands-on with PMT and always searching for ways to improve and grow.
When Roxy isn’t working, she enjoys time with her family and staying active however she can with the many outdoor activities that Colorado offers.
Natalie
Registered Veterinary Technician
Natalie is originally from Texas where she attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a BS in Biomedical Science. She moved to Colorado to further her education and fell in love with the state and never left. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute in 2009 and has been in the veterinary field ever since. She enjoys anesthesia and emergency medicine while her favorite aspect of the career is teaching. Natalie taught at her Alma Mater for 6 years before jumping back into emergency medicine.
In her spare time Natalie enjoys doing agility and obedience with her mixed breed dog Taffy and cuddling on the couch with her Chihuahua. She enjoys camping and getting “lost” in the mountains as well as reading and puzzles.
Anna
Registered Veterinary Technician
A Colorado Native, Anna is a skilled veterinary technician with a deep love for animals and a commitment to providing top-quality care. After starting as a kennel assistant and finding a passion for veterinary medicine, Anna attended PIMA Medical Institute in Aurora to obtain an associate degree in 2020 and become a Registered Veterinary Technician in Colorado. With 6 years of experience in the field, Anna has worked in both large animal, small animal, and exotic animal medicine, but has found a calling working in small animal emergency for the last 2 years.
Outside of working, Anna enjoys spending time outside with her three dogs, is an avid runner but much prefers ski season, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
